Hi! I’m Leslie. I live in the beautiful, unceded, ancestral territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm, Sḵwx̱wú7mesh, and səlilwətaɬ Nations (Vancouver, BC).

I began learning photography in high school and started freelancing in 2012. I ran my own photography business in the US for several years before coming to Canada for graduate school in 2018. Now I’m a Canadian citizen, a mom, and returned to my love of photography by offering sessions beginning in the fall of 2025. Family sessions, couples/engagement photos, newborn pictures, and pets (especially pets) are my favourite kinds of shoots.

Here’s a secret: a big part of why I became a photographer is that I really do not enjoy being in front of the camera. If that’s you, too—I get it, and my approach to sessions is designed to ensure you’ll feel comfortable and confident. My goal is to capture authentic, beautiful images for you to enjoy for years to come.

You may notice I’m not on social media. This is intentional. I’m really committed to your photos being for you. I recognize that privacy is hugely important (particularly for children), and the world of social media algorithms and AI is one we’re all navigating in different ways. I love sharing images on my website portfolio, but I won’t be posting on social media. Additionally, I have (to the best of my ability) installed AI blockers on my website, in hopes of protecting any images used here.
